DIY Nation C.I.C. is a community development organisation that uses creativity, education, wellbeing, sport, and entrepreneurship to empower young people and adults across Greater Manchester. We aim to help people build practical skills, confidence, and connections to opportunities that support their next step. Our DIY mindset combines taking initiative with shared learning and community support.
We are developing opportunities across five areas:
• Creativity and media: Music, podcasting, storytelling and creative expression.
• Education and digital skills: Practical learning to build skills and confidence with technology.
• Wellbeing and community connection: Bringing people together to build confidence, share experiences and reduce isolation.
• Sport and participation: Encouraging teamwork, active lifestyles and community involvement.
• Entrepreneurship and employability: Supporting people to explore ideas, learn from others and develop skills for work and enterprise.
Help us build opportunities across Greater Manchester.
We welcome interest from people who want to take part, volunteer, share their skills or help develop creative, educational and community projects.
Whether you’re an individual, community group, school, business or potential partner, we’d love to hear your ideas and explore how we could work together.
Let’s build opportunities together.
We welcome enquiries about taking part, volunteering, partnerships and creative collaborations. Tell us what you have in mind and how you’d like to get involved with DIY Nation.
